Final DPS

The image above shows the started on my DPS design and the style and colours of my DPS.

The image above shows the graphics at the back of my DPS, the two big ones have had their opacity turned down so that it doesn't make the reader concentrate on that as the main part to the DPS.

The images of the muscles on this screenshot I have hand drawn for my DPS so that it gives it something else and give it more of a designed DPS.

The green boxes on this screenshot are there to give me an idea of where everything that I will be putting into my DPS goes so that nothing gets muddled up and put in the wrong place.

The image above shows that for the main image on the DPS I have photoshopped it so that it gives it a bit more colour and make it stand out more on the page. I have changed the Hue/Saturation and the Brightness/Contrast (also shown on the image below).

The images below are changes that I have made to my DPS and the different layers that the changes are on.

This final image is the finished result of my DPS.

DPS Designs

Design 1:

This is my first design for my DPS which is about sport injuries this includes three Images it also includes a Graphic in the top right hand corner. The DPS includes different elements, which are; a Headline, a Subhead, a few Captions, Dropcaps, Bodycopy, and Folios. All these elements are shown in the right hand corner.

Design 2:

This is my second design for my DPS which again is about injuries in sport and this includes the same amount of images including one extra in a graphic in the bottom left corner. This DPS includes many different elements to it, which are; a Headline, a Kicker, several Captions, several Graphics, a Subhead, a few Dropcaps, Body copy and finally Folios. All of these elements are labeled and shown on the image.

Double page spread Scamp copies

The image above shows all the double page spread scamp copies that I have done. They are all related to sport as my magazine is on sport, they include everything that was on the page including  more tone where needed.

Magazine Covers Mock

Above are my two finished magazine cover designs that I made, of these I will choose a final one to use when I create a double page spread.

Above are screen shots of the making of my first magazine cover. This shows the different layers I used and the different parts of the cover in each layer, each layer is shown on the screen shots.

Above are screen shots of my other magazine design. this also shows the different layers I used to create the cover and the different parts of the magazine in each layer.

Above shows that I have added a crowd background to my image and blurred them out to make me stand out more and I have also added a lightening affect on the right to make me pop out even more.

Above shows me editing my first image to make me have more shine and pop out more and to also give me more colour. This was done, as shown above, by going into; image, adjustments and then hue/saturation, I did this to make the image stand out.

Magazine Cover Drafts

These are the drafts that I did for ideas for my Magazine cover that I will be making myself with my own designs. I did these to get an idea of what my magazine cover would look like with different designs and photos on the front.

I will be using these 45 images to then slim down to 5 to then choose one to but on my magazine front cover. The images include different movements and shots to give the front cover a different feel for the ones that I use.
